Max....a man's best friend

Max is really soft, and his ears make a cool crinkly sound. I have just started to notice Max, and we are having all kinds of fun discovering new things together. I've been sleeping with my blankey for a while now, but I just recently decided to allow Max to join us for naptime. He likes my cozy crib. I'm getting better at going to sleep on my own without crying. The blankey and Max help with that...a lot!

My Baptism

My great uncle Jim - who I call "Great" - baptized me on Sunday, July 23rd at Riverchase United Methodist Church in Birmingham. I had many family members and wonderful friends who came to share that special day with me. The church service was unusually special and appropriate that day. The Children's Moment was based on the song "I am the church. You are the church. We are the church together" , and one of mom's friends sang "Jesus Loves Me" during the offertory.

I am truly blessed to have so many admirable and spiritual role models who are already such an important part of my life.

Little Beach Bum

My first time at the beach was sooo much fun!!! I went with my mom and Gigi to Orange Beach. We stayed at my "Great's" awesome beach house. I already can't wait to go back!!! The beach will definitely have to be one of my future stomping grounds.

Napping is so much more enjoyable when you can hear the REAL ocean waves - not that silly sound of the ocean that usually plays in my nursery.

Changing Sooooo Much!

My mommy went to the beach with her girlfriends over Memorial Day weekend. When she got home, she said I was growing and changing entirely too fast. I think that I'm losing my "baby" look and starting to look more and more like a little boy. Awwww Yehhhh!

I like to talk all the time now. These crazy 'ole grownups can't seem to understand my language though........... What's a boy to do???

Feed me!!! Feed me!!!! I'm starving!!! It's been 2 whole hours since I ate last!

I'm not too sure about my exersaucer yet. All of these bright colored things look like they're jumping out at me. How long do you expect me to hang out with these wierd things?
