We play tug-of-war.
Sometimes we even fight over the same toy, but we're learning to share.

We enjoy new adventures together every day!

I am 10 months old today! Am I growing fast, or what? I can walk by holding onto my toys, the furniture, and the walls. And, wow! What a big world it is out there! There are all kinds of new things to discover every day. I stay very busy! Everytime I see a door, I have to open it.
I'm learning what my "tippy toes" are for.
I discovered the wine rack, and you can probably guess what my mom had to say about that.
The bottles make really cool clanking noises when I bang them together.
Nope. You can't stop me. I'll just reach right around this basket...thank you very much.
The cd player is much more interesting than my toys.
Don't you remember? I'm into the grownup toys now.
I am acting more and more like a big boy every day!
In the beginning, I had a hard time keeping up with the toys. Now, I can keep up with them and direct them much better. If you want to come play, I'll push you in my wagon! :)

Lately, my blankey has been going everywhere I go. I haven't quite figured out how to carry it and push my toys at the same time. Although, if it gets in the way like this again, I'll master it quicker than you think. Nothing will slow me down now!
presents from Santa
I got my first drum from Santa. It makes lots of noise when I bang on it and push the buttons on the side. Everyone thinks I have a lot of natural talent for banging. :)
I got a Winnie-the-Pooh storybook that reads and sings to me as I turn the pages.
I had the most fun with opening all the presents.
I was sooo excited to receive my first rocking horse! It is a "Rock 'N Bounce Pony". soooo cool!
daddy and me - by the tree
daddy and me - as big as the tree!
Gigi gave me a little red wagon for Christmas. It is my first real push toy, and I have already figured out how to walk behind and push it.

Uh -oh ..... caught again!
No, mom. I'm not playing with the ornaments again. I promise. I was just putting it back....

I got my first vacuum cleaner! It is a 2-in-1 Giggle Vacuum. Elmo is on one side, and Cookie Monster is on the other side. They talk to me while I vacuum. Mom and Dad are so glad that I'm already able to help around the house!

I got my very own suitcase for Christmas and another great stuffed animal.

Hello!!!!! Have you all forgotten about me?? Why am I not the center of attention anymore? I'm tired and ready for a nap. Don't you know that is what it means when I suck my thumb? Surely you don't want me to start screaming yet..... do you?
My mom and Gigi took me to meet Santa at Brookwood Village in Birmingham. I had a great time! Santa and I talked just like we were old pals. He was pleasantly surprised at my interest in him and commented a few times on what a happy boy I was. I told him what I wanted for Christmas, and he promised that he would do his very best.

I have my very own Santa costume and had my picture made in it for our Christmas cards.
Originally, the plan was for Lizzy and me to be in a picture together with our Santa hats. However, Lizzy was a little embarassed about having her picture made in such a silly hat, and she wouldn't cooperate. Since she didn't look very happy in any of the pictures, mom decided that I could be the "star" of the Christmas card this year. Of course, I was very excited about that!
Wow! There is so much to see in this great big world!
I'm discovering new things all the time.
Yes. I have finally found the dog food.
And.....it's yummy!

Not only am I crawling everywhere, but once I get there I pull myself up to standing.

Can you tell that I am very proud of myself?

I had to enjoy one more short swinging time before we boxed it up and put it away.
I am too big for it now, and there is no time for swinging. I've gotta go go go!
Yeah! Look at me! I pulled up here all by myself! And.... I fell down all by myself.

Dawson: Hee hee hee. I finally got to you, Lizzy. No more running from me!
Lizzy: Where did he come from? How did he get up here? Somebody tell him this is my stool.

Dawson: Come on Lizzy....it took a lot of effort for me to get up here. Don't you want to play?
Lizzy: Oh my. I think my world is changing very quickly. Where can I go to get away from him now?
Dawson: Mom, Lizzy isn't being very nice. Tell her she has to play with me.
