The Circus

I went to Nashville last weekend for my first trip to the circus. It was so much fun! I sat (or actually stood) still for 30 whole minutes and was mesmerized as I watched all of the fascinating acts.
The tigers were my Daddy's favorite- hmmm- go figure!
For the first 20 minutes, I stood in front of Nana and Gigi and held onto my pretzels. I ate pretzels in the car on the way there and insisted on keeping one for each hand. I refused to eat them or put them down - that is - until the popcorn came.
That was my first time to eat popcorn, and boy was it yummy! I "ate it all up" and kept asking for "more, more peeezzz."
The elephants were probably my favorite act. I had a great time making my elephant sounds and motions as I watched.
I had a great time running around and playing in the civic center - watching people, talking to people, climbing on things. There were actually a lot of children my age doing the same thing. Who knew there was such a party going on outside of the show?!

And, then...I was ready to go!

We had a great time, and I can't wait to go back next year!

Sprinkles

I have a new favorite toy - SPRINKLES! Ever since I used them to decorate Santa's cookies, I have been extremely fascinated by them. I remembered where we had put them on Christmas Eve and a few days after Christmas, I began reaching for the spice cabinet and asking for them. Naturally, it took awhile for the grownups to figure out what I was asking for, but I was very quick to show them. There have been many days in the past month when the sprinkles have stayed with me all day long. They do everything I do. They nap under the ottoman in my room. They love to eat Cheerios. They take baths when I wash my hands. They play outside, ride in the wagon, and love to ride in my car seat.
Have you ever considered taking some time out of your day to play with sprinkles? If not, I highly recommend it! Take time to stop and smell the roses, catch some snowflakes, or play with sprinkles!

IT'S SNOWING!

and I am soooo excited!
Wow! This stuff is really cool. No pun intended! I don't remember ever seeing anything like this.
feeling it, touching it, tasting it
Lizzy and I had a great time together. The only problem was that Mommy wouldn't let us play for long. I've been sick for the past two weeks, and my doctor just confirmed the end of this yucky stuff today. I'm thankful I got to get out and enjoy the snow.

A Very Merry Christmas

Santa came! I was sooo excited! Gigi, Bec-Bec, and Brian came over on Christmas morning. We had a yummy breakfast, and we all had a wonderful time playing with my new toys!

a tricycle and a train!

lots of wooden puzzles and tools! new books Here Daddy....help me fix my new train with my new screwdriver. A NEW CAR!

This was my first time to play with a remote control car, and it's all "MINE"!

Later in the morning Thomas came to visit and watched me drive my new power wheel. Then, we loaded the car and drove to Nana and Pop's house in Franklin. Both of my great grandmas were there as well as Kathleen, Charles, Cat, Craig, and Gigi. We had tons of delicious food and drinks and got to open many more presents! We don't have any pictures yet of that part of the day, because we used the video camera instead. Hopefully, there will be more pictures coming soon.

I had a very merry Christmas and hope that you did too. Praise the Lord for this special time of year and all of our many wonderful blessings!

Christmas Eve

I got to open one present on Christmas Eve - my first "Power Wheel"!!
I am always asking to "go outside and drive," so this was an awesome gift!
my "Mickme" Christmas pajamas I had a great time decorating Christmas cookies. Want a cookie Bec-Bec? Here ya go....
It was really hard to not eat them all, but I had to save some for Santa Claus.

ready....set.....go!

What??!!! No more presents until the morning??!! "Ohhhhh nooooo!"

Two of my favorite phrases this week have been: "here ya go" and a very exaggerated "ooohhhhhh noooooo." I'm a bit of a drama king sometimes. :)

Ok, so define "good"....

because my mommy says that Santa would not define my current behavior as "good" and it's questionable as to whether he will be coming to visit. Although, I do take great pride in my "terrible twos" that have come early and my extremely dramatic temper tantrums that are occurring more frequently each day.
"Uh-oh.....caught!"
"Cheese........I'm trying real hard.....maybe they didn't see me." boys will be boys
Thanks for the great, very appropriate shirt Aunt Kathleen!
