Mama was cleaning up the kitchen the other day, and I quickly ran up to her saying, "mama...there's a dead bug over there." She didn't pay me a lot of attention and said something about how we don't have time to catch dead bugs all day. A couple minutes later, I went back to her in the kitchen saying the same thing, "mama....mama...there's a dead bug over there." Finally, she exasperatingly puts down the dish towel and follows me to the back door where I show her this:

My New Lawn Mower
Eventually, I got tired of pushing and discovered I could keep up better by pulling the lawn mower.

Breathtaking Beauty
*****************************
Many of you have asked to see pictures, so here are some of my favorites. The above pictures are from a scenic overlook which is located in Sparta.
This is actually the "side yard" of a person's home on a residential street.
This is the view from a beautiful home on "the bluff" - which is a residential area known as Rim Rock Mesa.
another view from a home on "the bluff"
This is the view from a residential area on Story Mountain.
the side view of a home in one of the popular neighborhoods - known as Gillen
This is actually the "side yard" of that house and right in the middle of the neighborhood. Many of the homes in the residential areas have farm land - or "side yards" - as I like to call them. It's not unusual for there to be cattle in your neighbor's backyard.
The crazy thing about this is that the "natives" think nothing of it. They laughed at the realtor for taking us to the scenic overlook. This beautiful area causes you to truly step back and take in the amazing wonder of God's creation. As one of our new friends said so perfectly yesterday, "it is good for the soul."

Now Open!
my swimming pool!
Now, we just need some warmer weather. The water is extremely cold! I had a great time helping Daddy clean the pool. My favorite part was watching the "vacuum."
Oh no! Where did the vacuum go? (That is one of my favorite questions, and I always do the hand motions with it. Where did it go?)
